Temple Christian Academy is a strong academic and spiritual influence in Central Ohio. We strive to educate and influence today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders. Our purpose in providing a solid biblical education goes beyond simply helping students learn the academics required to enter college, get a good job, and be successful in life. We desire to build in students a life-long burning passion to learn and grow spiritually. It is one thing to want children to be successful and quite another to provide the academic and character training to ensure this accomplishment.
Mission Statement
The mission of Temple Christian Academy is (1) to lead students to a close and personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; (2) to train up the next generation of children for Christ; (3) to provide a Biblically based, individualized education; and (4) to prepare and guide all students through an arduous program of academic excellence by Christ-centered teaching, application, and example.
Our Faith
Temple Christian Academy is a ministry of Mount Vernon Baptist Temple.
- We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures.
- We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God’s plan and purpose in the ages.
- We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- We believe that salvation is “by grace” plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.
- We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Justification is an eternal relationship that can never be broken.
- We believe in the visible, personal, and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
